I prefer the gym photo. The basketball hoops hold it together, and the composition is interesting because of the floor mirroring the windows in a way.
I agree, I like the top one but I wish the lights were symmetrical with the lockers - of course, its totally out of your hands.
i really like both of these images, the symmetry and lack of people really creates interest out of a normally bland subject matter.
