I'm detecting just a slight bit of some sort of fabric on the extreme right hand side of this image, I'm not sure if you meant that or not, but I thought I'd point it out. So you shot these with 4x5...? Are the skies natural or are those done after the image was taken?
it is actually kinda easy to tell on this image. the masking is much better in the upper image but the detail is not there, a little soft. i really like the idea and look forward to seeing where it goes.
i concur that the masking needs to be cleaned up but i like the integration of the sky into this image, so maybe be a little lenient on the blend because i enjoy how it appears as if the wind is blowing away particles of the body. It incorporates the subject into the environment and it becomes a dynamic peoplescape as opposed to a static montage.
