I really like the way the girl's face is lit in the second one.

these are real good patriot... i cant decide if i like ones that are closer or a bit back...is the project to focus on the people or them in their surroundings more?

The surrounding are very important to the series. The subjects are placed in places that relate to them, places they spend a lot of time but wont anymore for whatever reason.

what would happen if you somehow altered these to maybe deviate from such a nice clean glossy look that these sorta have?...u could play with grain or saturation and mess around with making them seem older or fading; sort of echoing the disconnection you want to convey...just a thought

i like hunters thoughts. i maybe if you tried a sepia or a albumen style print. something a little older in feel to help motivate the view in a certain direction.
