great job with the lighting, however i would try cleaning the items first on the bottom one ther are some water stains on the lid that are distracting. i haven't checked the others but looks good.
i agree also i might try a smaller aperture, i would help with depth of field. while you have great detail on the labels but the tops seem to get a little soft. other than that everything else looks good. i will say though that if there are thirty images of beauty products that all look the same it will get a little boring and the view might lose interest. maybe try a black background. just a thought
I will have model shots coming too, haven't had time to work with the girls yet so I'm trying to get all the product shots out of the way. It also is supposed to be a plain and simple visual list of these items so I wanted them to look similar. I was thinking about black too...I might try it next time! These are definitely rough draft...they take a lot longer to work on then they appear. Thanks for the tips guys!
I can't remember from your pitch at the beginning of the semester these supposed to be commercially oriented shots or is there a fine art motive behind this project?
All commercial - product and beauty They're cropped kinda weird now but I won't know the final till I have the model shots and figure out my book layout.
