This one isn't quite finished... but so far it's 26 layers, and has taken about 17 hours. In comparison the average Lovejoy images was 16 layers and took anywhere from 8 to 12 hours in Photoshop. So needless to say, my eyes hurt and I want a nap.
I was going to put in a door or a chair maybe... but maybe not if people think it looks finished. I was expecting a flood of "It needs something else" comments. So woo hoo, cool deal!
oh and did you just drop opacity on the reflections. maybe try using multiply blending mode with lowered opacity this will bring out the texture in the floor. right now the reflections seem too intense.
if their reflections are visible you would probably also be able to see the wall too. try puting some of the texture of the wall reflecting on the floor. this might tie the floor to the wall. i want a digital finger so i can just point at things i feel like i'm blabbering on the blog til i'm blue.

try using the blur tool on the layer mask around yourselves this decreases hardness from backround layers.
also what about character shadows? one seems to be standing between light source and subject.

Megan, I don't think it needs anything else. 5 elements works well.
