Personally, I think the cropping on the teeth of the boy on the left is awkward. Other than that I really like he image, you have captured their emotions very well and the close cropping on the faces is very intimate and works well. Try adding some space on the bottom to catch more of the teeth, or even try less, crop up to his nose just to see if you like it.
Another installment on my portrait project, not sure about this one though, I would love some opinions

nevermind...I don't like how it looks if you take off more, I tried it myself on screen and it looses a lot.
