Fidel's back yard...

I'm learning that what interests me in my own work is the idea of landscapes with human interaction: the human element is what I am drawn to in images. I shot this over the summer while visiting Castro.

I like your take on landscapes. It is more interesting looking at peopled landscapes. People sometimes create the landscape, people become a part of it. When i think of some of your past work i would say that people give your landscapes a tangible sense of place. Without people many landscapes become untouchable and fantasy-like. The colors in your landscapes are always so vivid and at times dominant. very nice.
