I am trying to figure out the look I want for my Norita project. The top is straight and bottom is with a C41-E6 curve. Let me know if you have a preference.
that's a tough call. i am gonna have to say the c41-e6 curve though. it is more encaptivating in setting a mood. by the way is the curve a plug in or something?
i need to see more images. the C41-E6 curve might look good with this one, but it might not with others. i like the curved look, it gives off an eerie feel, which is enhanced by her expression, but i'm more drawn to the straight image. i think it depends on what your other images look like. good luck deciding.
I prefer the straight one in this case, Ian. I don't like the bright fuchsia on his cheeks with the curve, and I think the color of his already bright jacket looks almost like posterization
I don't really think the green cross processed look is adding that much to the image. I don't really feel like it's deliberate enough, and just seems like a way to try to keep the pictures from looking like cute kid pics.

Im going to have to go with the c41-e6 curve as well. The other one is good, but the effect with it really plays well with the lighting.

I know what the C41-E6 curve is suppose to achieve, I like the blue wash in it but its just too green for my liking, the color feels off.
Hmmm. O.K I am going to post another. Jace, we constructed the curve in 360. Anyone in the class can show you how it's done.

the posterization in the cross process kinda kills it for me, it takes the subtle narrow band of detail out of the image
I totally just said "his" twice. WOH someone needs sleep.
the first one definitely. the norita doesn't deserve the posterization.
