Top one works better for me. I think in the bottom one you can see the detail of the background fabric too much and its not helping.
Does the top one feel too dark?
I like the graininess in the second one, but the "people" don't match with the grain. Ohterwise I prefer it. The top one is a little too straight forward for me.
