Yesterday I had my first paid shoot in Los Angeles! Her name is Madeline and she's from Austria.
Oh and there's something to be said for the power of e-mailing complete strangers. Last week I remembered that one of my favorite photographers, Chris Anthony, lives here in LA. I e-mailed him and he wrote back inviting me to check out his studio this week! I'm excited like a 16 year old girl. I'm such a huge fan of his work!

It's freaking hot out today,

This is the guy that shoots mostly 4x5" right? I remember you showing me his work last year, especially the My Chemical Romance album photographs! That sounds like a great opportunity, good luck.
