Does anyone use Lightroom or know any professionals that use Lightroom?
For photographers, such as photojournalists and documentary photographers who need to organize and sort hundreds of images, Lightroom could be the next great thing. Not to mention the fact that photojournalists should not be manipulating their images beyond what can be done in RAW adjustments.

I currently use Lightroom 2. As you said, it's really good for processing a large volume of photographs quickly. One really nice thing is you can do non-destructive editing to jpg and tiff files in addition to RAW. You can also add all the metadata during the editing/processing phase. One thing to keep in mind is it's not a replacement for Photoshop, rather another tool designed for photographers who need to do minimal work on their images.
