Forever Families - Stories of Adoption

Hello everyone! I don't know if anyone is checking this, but I finally got my multimedia show I created for my adoption portrait project uploaded to Youtube. Check it out if you have a few minutes and let me know what you think. Thanks, and enjoy the summer! Leslie

Fantastic, Leslie. Really.

I loved the pace of the whole thing, and the nice fades in and out of music with the recorded pieces.

You did a great job! And I loved the new portraits of the kids from Sierra Leone and Columbia. Great family portrait, too.

just a little.

Great images. The speaking was muffled and therefore hard to hear without cranking up the volume; it might be worth fixing.

Thank you to everyone! This was my very first project of this type and I feel the audio interview clips turned out amazing well with the exception of the last two. I realize there are issues there. I have learned a bit about audio capture through this, so it should go better next time. It sounds better with headphones or through external speakers. Yes, I hope to do this type of "end-product" for my first senior project next semester...this was a trial run but I am very pleased with it considering I had never touched Final Cut or Soundtrack Pro before this project. I learned as I went, Googling "How do you (fill in the blank) in Final Cut?" as I needed to figure out how to do something. ;) I feel that this is the direction online news delivery is going, and my goal is to tell stories, so this type of project works for me. Again, thank you!
