I'm hoping this is the final of this image.

This is a better look at the creature.

color seems to be slightly off (only by a very miniscual amount) oh well.
the creature just seems a little stiff, maybe it's the placement. maybe if it were looking down into the hole or something it might help. just think it needs to interact with the landscape a little more. lookin great tho.
I really like the simplicity of the top one over the other, as long as the creature isn't needed for the story in this image.
thanks for the input I think i've decided to scrap the creature. it does seem to be distracting.
