So I know Camden, Zak, and Ty are on Twitter. Anyone else? I want to make sure I'm keeping up with any of you who are on it. Mine's twitter.com/meganthompson. If you don't have one, I really suggest you get one! Twitter is how I get a lot of work these days, including working with blink-182, so don't knock it till you try it.

Forgot that
Twitter has opened a lot of doors for me. I've made great connections with other photographers!
Viva la Twitter!
i really need a smart phone to always be on top of that..
There is a lot of potential in twitter. It gets a lot of bad publicity, but there is something about it that works so well in our online culture right now. I think of it more as a note taking device, almost like hundreds of sticky notes.. I cant wait till I'm 50 so I can look back at all my tweets and make fun of myself. haha viva la twitter
one more note on twitter: in the last couple of weeks I have had 10 hits on my website that were referred by twitter, 3 of them were interenational. I bet Megan and Camden's traffic from twitter is much higher than mine too

I use twitter as a digital memoir, similar to what Zak was talking about.
@Cam: The only thing you need to update twitter is any phone that can send text messages. I have the most barebones phone and can still send updates to Twitter.
I have been avoiding twitter, but maybe after all your comments I will have to join.
I'll add that Twitter is a great way to get in contact with other (successful) photographers. Amy Stein and Brian Ulrich are on there, just to name a couple. Joerg Colberg of Conscientious fame also tweets.
I've had some fantastic photo/art discussions through Twitter.
And as a side note, roughly 30% of my website traffic comes from Twitter.
OK I signed up for twitter
