Parking Lot, MSU

I am a Blogger failure. This is the second time I have tried to post this so if my post comes twice, I apologize. Anyway, what I said is, you know those cute little ducks at the MSU duck pond? This one found its way to the Roske parking lot. It is a tricolor gum bichromate over cyanotype, about 13x19.

This looks amazing. I would say I'd like to see a series of them but I'm not sure I actually believe that...

I love this picture! The framing of the image is right on in my opinion, although I wish there hadn't been an opportunity for it...

It is so ironic that we are told not to take pictures of the ducks in 103. We were told wrong because this is beautiful. Rules were meant to be broken.

I enjoy looking at this image listening to King for a Day by Artie shaw. its like wandering into a 1930s cartoon and watching the duck stroll along so merrily. the story rolling along to a love affair with the climax being the fatal accident but the resolution never comes because i'm still laughing! perfect medium.

I encourage you to try this! listen to the song here: http://www.archive.org/download/1930s-ArtieShaw-51-60/ArtieShaw-KingForADay1936.mp3
