Is there a specific criteria for nominating letters, or do we just write whatever?

The nominees for these awards will be evaluated based on a demonstrated, sustained performance of teaching excellence. Nominating criteria can include:
• Knowledge of subject/discipline
• Preparation and organization
• Clarity and understandability
• Enthusiasm for subject
• Sensitivity to students’ needs
• Availability and helpfulness
• Quality of examinations and assessment
• Impartiality in evaluating students
• Quality of advising assistance
• Application of new technologies to enhance students’ learning
