These are some of the first scans I’ve done of my 4×5 negatives. These are images I shot for my architecture assignment in 264. I wanted to play with the illusion of placing telephone poles atop buildings, with the focus on the telephone poles, something we are not normally drawn to when we think of architecture.

I think the compositions are strong enough for your idea to come through without using selective focus--the technique isn't really flattering when shooting architecture.
well i disagree with sam. your compositions are strong enough to do without the selective focus but because you are breaking that norm the selective focus intrigues me and that is trying to ignore my own biases. all in all strong work
I personally like how the selective focus isolates the telephone poles.
