Wednesday night my friend and I hiked in to Elbow Lake and Mt Cowen to retrieve a gear stash a maybe do some climbing before winter hits the alpine for good. This was taken Thursday morning at about 7 am. Friday we were able to climb the 1800' face directly in the middle of the image. Good luck with classes everyone, cant wait to see what you do!

Here comes winter

gorgeous Ian... i will never forget that mountain. i have a feeling my knee won't let me.
Elbow Lake is amazing. Pine Creek lake is also worth the trek.
I could see Mt. Cowen from my childhood house.
