Getting Models Via Craigslist

How does one go about this? I'm wanting to start searching for models for my senior project and I don't know where to post on Craigslist. Help.

You should just start a model mayhem account, although I'm not sure how many people would be on that from Bozeman.

Mmm. Well I'm looking for a family to document so I was hoping I could find one via craigslist and pay them with some of the photos I take of them.

So all you are really looking for is a genuine family, which you plan to document? In that case I wouldn't consider them or call them "models" persay, because it might intimidate them into saying that they cannot perform the tasks that you might have in store.

Personally, I think word of mouth could be beneficial in this case, because it will not be something that lasts a weekend, correct? It's obviously going to be a long term project.

Maybe try and get in contact with some of the families that you photographed last year with the lighting class and tell them to put the word out. Surprisingly word of mouth can still travel pretty far consider the computer world we live in, especially if they appreciate the work you have done for them in the past. (which you guys did last year)

If they know you are trusting and sincere, then you will be able to achieve a much more personal document for yourself and for them.
