Tintypes

These are my first experiments with Tintypes. We worked on them as a group in experimental today. The splocthes are the from air bubbles in the emulsion...the flakey things that look like dust are the result of a gang lab. other pieces of emulsion floating in the chemicals re-adhered to the plate. Hope yall like em

Try to avoid ever shaking liquid silver emulsion, because once you get bubbles in the emulsion they won't go away.

I have a worksheet for all the things I figured out when I was making modern ambrotypes. Let me know if anyone wants it.
