That is incredibly sad, wish I hadn't read this news first thing in the morning. I heard him speak about his work in April 2009 and my level of respect for his work (which was already high) increased immensely. His talk was intelligent, witty and eloquent. His work struck a delicate balance between the conceptual and the vernacular, something very few artists have the ability to do well. This is a huge loss to the Art world.
