Hey all, I am new at this but I figured now is a good a time as any to start posting. These are a couple of the images from my final narrative for 260. Tell me what you think. Be cruel.
Hi everyone! Last week I bought myself a portable seamless sweep, and today was the first time I've had the chance to use it. This is my friend Trish. I lit her with a Alien Bee 1600 and the 30x60" softbox camera left and my Alien Bee 800 with a 20" beauty dish to the right of her. Hope everyone is well in Bozeman... it was 72 here today.
Testing out a Canon 65mm f/2.8 MP-E 1-5x macro lens with 150mm of extension tubes and the 1.6 crop factor of a Canon 20D.
Greetings again from Roseland. I have been photographing in woods for the last two days and again tomorrow morning. It has been unusually cold here and the trees have lost all their leaves which has been unfortunate. Also I have been dodging hunters which is freighting. But I have been pretty happy so far, the weather has given a quite different feel to the images, like this one.
OK so I am a blog slacker, but I will try to participate more, since we have found out via various sources that there are lots of people who are looking at your blog to get all kinds of info about our program.
Here is a tricolor gum print of my Family of Origin series called Pink Poodles. It shows my new way of scratchy messy gum...see the series at christinaZanderson.com but it won't be finished for about 6 months....
This is a portrait of my friends April and Ryan that I took right before leaving Bozeman last week. I love the Bridgers in this one. My friend Thane was acting as a light stand and holding one of my Alien Bee 1600s off to the right and slightly in front with no modifier. Their goats are milling around on the ground out of the frame, but I have more with goats present in my blog.
A couple weeks back I photographed the band Lorene Drive from Victorville, CA and they just recently updated their myspace page and used my images to make a pretty epic layout. I'm really stoked on it, so check them out and give them a listen.
