George Georgiou's modern Turkey project on FeatureShoot

George and his wife Vanessa Winship came and talked a few years ago in the VCB, and he showed us this project, then a new body of work. It just showed up on Feature Shoot this past month. Pretty neat stuff. He shoots with a cheap point-and-shoot camera, which I was a little conflicted about when he came to lecture, but re-investigating his images, it obviously doesn't matter what the hell camera you use. I believe this work was showcased at MoMA in 2010. Cool stuff.
