Why would you draw interest to either point? In the top one you have a stronger selective focus/ stronger composition. The bottom one you have more information. But why do either matter? What do you want me to look at? Do you have one with a selective focus on the center of the wheel?

I like the bottom one. I like the crop and I like the focus. It is far more appealing to me.
and to make your life more confusing, I like the top the one the best. The sharpness of the line is what I especially like in that one.
Top! I think the bolt is distracting on the bottom one.
If I could figure out a way to get rid of the bolt would that change any opinions?

so I looked at them again. Yup, still like the top! nice diagonal lines. but as Josh said, it is really all about what you want me to look at.
