are you finding that you get the same quality with the digital and have you tried to print anything yet with it. it would be interesting to see the difference of the same image printed from a negative and one from the digi back.
Ian-The prints at native size (16x20 @300dpi) are as fine as any print from film I have seen. At 30 inches the prints still look as good as my film prints, but at 40 inches I can start to see some break down in quality, so I feel that is about my limit.
Bek-there was and old pair of pliers on the ground that I used to push the bird around. Not sure the pliers were any less toxic than the bird though.

This one has a much moodier feel about it and the focus right on the tip of the beak is great. is this with you digital back
Yes, 2 digital images stitched together, slightly offset around the beak to create a bit of a swirl.

The change in focus, light, and composition make all the difference...I prefer this one as well!

I really like this one Ian. The other one has a unique composition but the I like the mood and feel of this one much more.
this is such a beautiful image! The quality of light is just awesome!
