These are some non-fiction images that I took for a local landowner to illustrate the bark beetle infestation, and the logging done to help mitigate the problem. I was wondering if they are effective.
There is something about the image layout that bothers me. I cant quite put my finger on it but I think it may be the white background the images are on. Maybe try putting it on black to see what it looks like. Are these meant to be like and editorial in an magazine? There is a lot of white space in the layout that is awkward. I unfortunately don't have any advice how to fix it, I understand why you have the lay out that way, unless there is could be text in the empty spaces to fill them.
