A few weeks ago I was so eager to develop my 120 mm color film from the break I accidentally poured in my Blix before my developer, but I realized it soon enough to salvage my roll. I am actually quite pleased with the results and am rolling with the "darkness" and "color shifts", I don't recommend my making my mistake, but taking pride in it!
If anyone is in the Denver/Fort Collins, CO area in November, I will have this photograph in the Portrait Exhibition, juried by Mary Ellen Mark, at The Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins. The show opens November 6th with a public reception for the photographers whose work has been accepted for the show. I am trying to make it down to meet some of the other photographers and gain feedback from others attending the opening. The show will be open from November 6th-November 28th.
I really enjoyed meeting Lewis M. in Butte in early summer. He was a Boss on the mine for many years. Now he spends a lot of his time in his beautiful veggie garden. We spent a long time conversing about the ins-and-outs of gardening in Montana.
