These are my first experiments with Tintypes. We worked on them as a group in experimental today. The splocthes are the from air bubbles in the emulsion...the flakey things that look like dust are the result of a gang lab. other pieces of emulsion floating in the chemicals re-adhered to the plate. Try to avoid ever shaking liquid silver emulsion, because once you get bubbles in the emulsion they won't go away.
