The UN Climate Change Conference has started in Copenhagen, where the
photographer James Balog will present work by a team of photographers that
have been documenting the melting of glaciers. The photographs taken
are simple and scientific, but I hope they will demonstrate to people
what the melting of ice will mean to the world and that much of the
ice will be gone before we know it. Everyone too, should keep their
fingers crossed that leaders meeting in Denmark this week will find an
agreement that will drastically cut world emissions.
