David Hockney in Spain

Today I had the privilege of visiting the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain! Not only did I get to see this famous photo-collage in person, but I also accomplished the Guggenheim Trifecta. I've now visited the "big three" collections under the Guggenheim name spread across the world (NYC, Venice, and Bilbao).

For more about the aforementioned exhibit click here.
Cheers!

Leaving Iraq to help me make boxes...

I thought I recognized the yellow picture of the helicopter in the bottom panel on MSU's homepage, clicked on it, sure enough it's a link to a nine minute clip about Sean Foulkes and his photographs from Iraq. Thank you Sean for your service to our country. (And helping me with my senior project)

ERIN FROST

A friend told me about this woman the other day.  She graduated from the MSU back in 2000.  Her work consists mostly of silver gelatin self-portraits.  Her recent work with embroidery and collage continues this reinvention-destroying precious, labored over prints before altering and reconstructing them.  http://erin-frost.com/

need a break from dusting

I just got a roll of velvia 50 back from Praus and found this image from last semester I had forgotten I had taken. I'm sick of dusting my images for this semester so I thought I would take a break and post an image. Here you go.
