Today's Chronicle (12/23/08) has a great article about Nubia Garcia. Check it out.Congratulations, Nubia!
So here you have it...a taste of the senior show, akin to Vanity Fair magazine's Rich and Famous Parties section. Unfortunately when making my action to resize these and save to a different folder, I did not select the "eml" folder I had created and thus these are forever web-sized :(, or, about, 300ppi 1x2 inches. Well, come to think of it, that is the size the Vanity Fair images are anyway! That's what I get for doing Photoshop actions early in the morning. Nick, love that puzzled look... oh, and the images are not all-inclusive either as I got to chatting (again) instead of doing my job of documentarian.
I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas! Here is one image from the senior show, probably my favorite. I have a bunch more I have to size that I will add in the next several days. I got lots of positive comments about the show, you all. You rock. I can't believe it was so well attended in the extreme cold and Christmas busy season!
This is some of my latest imagery involving virtual worlds. This was some shooting I did with a Second Life fashion designer and virtual celebrity Callie Cline. Some of the shoots I've done with her have appeared in virtual publications and may end up in Marie Claire in the Turkish market (she's huge over there). But more so I want to know what people think of this work as photographers. It is capturing a moment in space and time but no light (only light related physics) are involved. So tell me what you think.
